 In this workshop, we will review ways you can use technology to assist your child at home  How to use Mrs. Conefrey’s and Ms. Charles’s website to access homework and current class news  How to use Think Central to access the Go Math online resources  How to level books using Scholastic Book Wizard and Book Source  How to access Raz-Kids (on line leveled readers)

 Go to PS 19 website:  Class webpages  Mrs. Conefrey and Ms. Charles  My Homework- daily homework

 Visit  Fill in the following information:  State: New York  District: New York City Dept of Ed, New York  School: PS 19 Judith K Weiss Woodlawn, Bronx  Username: (your child will have it written in their planner)  Password: (default: students may change their password after they login)  Click on "My Library"  Choose what you would like to explore!

 Scholastic Book Wizard   Guided Reading  Type the title:  The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe  Click on the title  Guided Reading level T

 Click on  Type the name of the book in the Search area and click go.  All the books that are related to the title you typed in will be listed. Click on the title you want to level.  More books will appear. Find the book you wish and look across. The level you are looking for is under the Alpha Level.  The next slide will show you what each letter means with regards to grade level.
