7 th Grade Social Studies Curriculum in the Seventh grade is American History Class will consist of reading, discussion, note taking, the viewing of videos, working on laptops, group work and projects Notes and handouts should be placed in a binder in a section set aside for Social Studies Trimester grades will consist of class work, homework, quizzes, tests and projects

Homework Children are responsible for writing their homework in there assignment book before leaving each class All tests and quizzes are written on side board. Begin each trimester with a homework grade of 100; for every incomplete homework, 5 points will be deducted Progress reports will be sent home mid-trimester
