Conferences/Guidance Corey McGinnis and Jenny Hinton – 8:40 – 9:00 a.m. Team meetings with all core teachers is generally a positive experience as, more often than not, struggles and/or obstacles will be present in more than one learning environment. Covering the Basics - Guidance

Expectations -Have necessary supplies for the day -Keep daily warm-up in binder -Keep up with daily assignments and homework -Ask questions on Edmodo for peers to see -Get make-up work the next day if you are absent (so, A-Day students need to come B-Day during PAMS time to get their work!) -Ask questions!

Rules and Behavior Class and School rules are listed in the Student’s Agenda that they received the first day of school. Students are expected to follow the rules AT ALL TIMES The Pumas Core has established a S.T.O.P. disciplinary system that will be observed by all teachers within the core 1- Student will receive verbal warning(s) in the classroom 2 – A S.T.O.P. sign may be given to a student as a final warning. 3 – Upon receipt of the S.T.O.P. sign, students will be given a parent letter to bring home and return to school The next disciplinary steps include: teacher detention (after school) then a discipline referral to the office in which an administrator determines the next course of action.

Thank You! Do we have time?... Wow! Questions? Comments? Concerns? PLEASE take a “post-it note” from ANY of the Puma teacher’s doors! This is a team donation and GREATLY appreciated! Us teachers like dark chocolate - and coffee
