TRADITIONS THEY celebrate Christmas between December 12 th through the 6 th of January. THEY celebrate Christmas because that’s when the Lord Jesus was born and that’s when his birthday is. THEY also have fireworks and dancing. In the Mexican culture they have a celebration where they have skulls which remembers the day where famous people died.

HOLIDAYS THE Reyes magos are called macher mercol and matasar. THEY come when it’s Christmas time. In Green Bay they give presents to el Niño Jesus they have to bring 3 presents and then they give it to him. The kids think that Santa comes and brings presents. In Mexico they think that los 3 Reyes magos comes and brings them presents. THEY also have a holiday celebrating the birthday of the virgin Maria who is the mother of Jesus

FOOD THEY eat a lot of food but the most popular food that they eat is tamales, tacos and posole. IN Mexico they have foods that are called the pambasos. They’re really good.

MONEY AND QUARTERS THEY have coins that represent money. The coins and the money they have in Mexico are called un peso, dos pesos. EXAMPLE: If I had 5 dollars then over there in Mexico it would be more then five dollars.

Special people ONE of the special people is PORFIRRIO DIAZ because he was one of the oldest presidents of Mexico. From 1877 through 1911 he influenced Mexicans from the economy of the country. Some other special people are the soccer players because they entertain people by making goals. A real person that plays all over the world is Chicharito. He played for Mexico he is a good soccer player.

RECIPES ONE of the recipes that we eat is posole that every one eats. It’s made out of beans (well white beans). Then you put soup in (well the juice) and that’s it super easy.
