Midpoint – a point located halfway between two endpoints Segment Bisector – A segment or line that intersects a segment at its midpoint Midpoint Formula :

*****REMEMBER***** When a point is between two others, it does NOT imply that it is a midpoint!!! This only means that the three points are collinear.

BEWARE!!!! Is the question asking you to find the coordinates of the midpoint or the endpoint? Is the question asking you to find the length of the segment from endpoint to midpoint, or the entire length of the segment? Bottom line: READ CAREFULLY!
