what is contacts?

In-contacts is an online contacts database designed from the ground up to be compatible with modern business needs.

In-contacts user interface is provided through a web browser, allowing access to the database from any internet connection without the need for installing software.

In-contacts has an open structure which allows easy development of additional modules that can be plugged into the main database.

In-contacts provides extensive search capabilities allowing quick and easy access to contact details. Soundex searches are included as default to overcome searches on misspelled names and addresses.

A password protected entry page ensures that only the people authorised to see your database get access.

Exports of data can be downloaded and then used in Excel and other office software.

how does contacts work?

the benefits of contacts

In-contacts provides a secure contacts database from anywhere that you have an internet connection allowing your staff access to all of the functionality of the system from home, the office and your client’s premises.

In-contacts has a versatile structure behind the scenes allowing the programmers to develop a wide range of new modules according to the requirements of the user.

In-contacts can be run from the in-computers web servers, relieving you of the burden of in-house technical support and backup of your database.

Alternatively, in-contacts can be leased to run from your office web servers allowing you the ability to administrate your own system.

In-contacts can be run using the web’s native SSL encryption ensuring that none of your valuable client information is being leaked to other sources.

In-contacts allows your staff to update information from any location and those updates are available to all users of the system whether in or out of the office.

Use of internet technologies allows the possibility to utilise other web services such as , voice over IP, or the updating of corporate web sites online.

the future of contacts

Additional modules are continually being developed. Currently, job-tracking and a UDP job module is being added to the system

Company branding will be available to ensure that the user front end matches your corporate identity. Useful when using the system in front of one of your clients

A full permissions module will allow you to restrict users access to specific areas or functions of the system, and will track your users changes to the database

The ability to save exports, specific queries and reports and recall them at any time.

A software based front end for use within the office removing the need to run the system from a web browser

Real-time links into the Microsoft Office Suite and Small Business Server will allow greater access to s, documents and processes such as mail merge.
