“AS I LOOKED, “THRONES WERE SET IN PLACE, AND THE ANCIENT OF DAYS TOOK HIS SEAT. HIS CLOTHING WAS AS WHITE AS SNOW; THE HAIR OF HIS HEAD WAS WHITE LIKE WOOL. HIS THRONE WAS FLAMING WITH FIRE, AND ITS WHEELS WERE ALL ABLAZE. A RIVER OF FIRE WAS FLOWING, COMING OUT FROM BEFORE HIM. THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS ATTENDED HIM; TEN THOUSAND TIMES TEN THOUSAND STOOD BEFORE HIM. THE COURT WAS SEATED, AND THE BOOKS WERE OPENED. DANIEL 7:9-10

II.SECURITY IS ROOTED IN WHO GOD IS! A. HE IS THE “ANCIENT OF DAYS!” (7:13,22) B. HE IS THE “JUDGE OF THE NATIONS” (7:10,26) C. HE IS THE “SON OF MAN” (7:13) D. HE IS THE “MOST HIGH GOD” (7:25)

III.SECURITY COMES BY KNOWING THE KING AND BELONGING TO HIS KINGDOM! JESUS SAID ABOUT HIMSELF: HE WILL COME (MTT. 24:30) HE WILL RULE (MTT. 7:17) HE KNOWS HIS OWN AND WILL GATHER THEM (MTT. 24:30-31)

WHAT DOES SECURITY MEAN FOR US TODAY? 1. SECURITY MEANS WE CAN LIVE WITH A COMMITMENT TO GOD AND WE DON’T COMPROMISE WITH THE WORLD!

2. SECURITY MEANS THAT WE LIVE WITH CONFIDENCE IN GOD, KNOWING THAT GOD IS IN COMPLETE CONTROL OF HIS WORLD!

WHAT DOES SECURITY MEAN FOR US TODAY?

4. SECURITY MEANS WE LIVE WITH CONVICTION, KNOWING THAT GOD’S REVELATION TO US IS SURE AND CERTAIN! WHAT DOES SECURITY MEAN FOR US TODAY?

5. SECURITY MEANS WE LIVE WITH CHRISTLIKENESS DAY BY DAY, SEEKING TO BECOME MORE AND MORE LIKE HIM IN OUR ACTIONS, SPEECH, CHOICES, ATTITUDES, ETC.

“…Until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the holy people of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.” -Daniel 7:22 “Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.” -Daniel 7:27
