HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF FUND A DONOR ADVISED FUND AN ALTERNATIVE GRANT PROCESS

What is the Haiti DAF? A “Restricted Fund” of The Rotary Foundation A “Restricted Fund” of The Rotary Foundation Established to streamline the flow of contributions from Rotarians looking to assist victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Donations will be received from around the world Donations will be received from around the world Funds will be used in the relief effort and for projects providing longer-term support and development in Haiti. The account holders will work with local Rotary clubs and districts, emergency relief agencies, and the District 7020 Governor to meet the most pressing needs of people in affected areas. This group of decision makers will also be known as the “Task Force”. The Priorities for Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund: 1. Schools and Children 2. Prosthetics 3. Sustainable Housing * Other projects to assist earthquake victims will be considered
