A Community Needs Assessment: Provides your United Way with information that is essential to setting an effective community impact agenda Determines community needs in areas such as: health and well-being, early childhood development, seniors, housing, education and community safety Compiles community data in a comprehensive report with analysis and interpretation that considers historical data

A Community Survey: Measures awareness and identifies perceptions about social and family issues that are a part of your United Way’s community impact agenda Develops benchmarking data to be used to evaluate progress and effectiveness of efforts to fulfill the community impact agenda

A Donor Survey: Explores what motivates donors to contribute to your United Way, and what impacts loyalty and growth of donors Determines if donors support the United Way mission and embrace the community impact agenda Discovers how timing, communication, the workplace, and other external factors shape contribution decision making among donors

An Employer Survey: Explores what motivates employers to hold United Way workplace campaigns and how to maximize relationships with major employers Determines if employer’s support the United Way mission and embrace the community impact agenda Measures satisfaction with United Way workplace campaigns and why some employer’s are reluctant to hold workplace campaigns

An Active Community Investor Survey : Understands the awareness and perceptions of how well United Way fulfills its mission Examines what motivates active community investors to donate to United Ways, and why others are not making donations Measures involvement with United Way workplace campaigns and gathers feedback about other programs offered by United Way
