CFE Philanthropy Committee - Goals

Philanthropy Committee – Partners Ladder Up is committed to helping hardworking, low- income families & individuals access the financial resources and tools they need to move up the economic ladder. Ladder Up provides free financial services to help clients work towards financial stability.

Philanthropy Committee – Events Tax Assistance Program CFE volunteers provided free tax preparation for 78 clients & returned $144,000 to our community!

Philanthropy Committee - Partners The Cara Program prepares and inspires motivated individuals to break the cycles of homelessness and poverty, transform their lives, strengthen our communities, and forge paths to real and lasting success.

Philanthropy Committee - Events The Cara Program: Clothing Drive CFE members donated business attire & accessories and filled an entire mini-van with clothes and opportunity!

Philanthropy Committee - Partners For over 100 years, building girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place ! A simulated city -Teaching real-world skills -Immersive -Experiential -Collaborative

Philanthropy Committee - Events Girl Scouts: Journey World Volunteers assisted the Girl Scouts run a simulated city while learning financial & entrepreneurial skills!

Our volunteer-based K-12 programs foster work- readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire kids to dream big and reach their potential.

Philanthropy Committee - Partners Cyndi Lafuente Memorial Fund This bequest is for the purpose of supporting the charitable activities of the CFE Philanthropy Committee. These funds shall be dedicated to establishing or maintaining a program for disadvantaged and/or a scholarship for less advantaged young women or girls.
