Last Week: Sensitive and Overwhelming Reactions by U.S. Citizens on Both Sides

Many Christians In The U.S. Have Voiced Discontent Some may want to sulk or vent on social media or in personal conversations. Some may feel in the depths of despair. But, here is what Christians SHOULD DO…

We Must ALWAYS Remember Our True Citizenship

Did You Know?… We Died! We have died to the elementary principles of the world. Col. 2:20 We died to sin because our attachment is to Jesus Christ…not this world. Eph. 2:11-13; 1 Jn. 2:15

Our Spiritual Citizenship Gives Us Clarity

Our Primary Work Is Not To… Demand certain “rights” of our earthly citizenship, but to provide the provide Christ’s righteousness. This doesn’t mean we cannot use what privileges we currently have within our earthly citizenship. Cp. Acts 25:11-12 This helps us to focus where our energy is best being used to and for the glory of God. Lk. 19:10; Acts 8:1ff

So, Focus On These Eternal Truths…

Rejoice in the Lord, for you have eternal life. Phil. 4:4 Shine for the cause of Christ (rather than sulk at what is contrary to Christianity)… The world has always been and will always be a dark place. Matt. 5:14 Be peacemakers (Matt. 5:9) and bring the gospel of peace (Rom. 10:15) to this broken world.
