Mt Emei A sacred Buddhist mountain in China
There are four sacred mountains in China where Buddhist pilgrims climb as an act of worship. Mt. Emei is in western China near the city of Chengdu and is over 10,000 ft tall. It has 5 Buddhist temples/ monasteries on it. We visited 2 of them.
