GOAL 2 develop the supporter base of a younger audience (university student) aged 18 – 25 in UK. increase the number of site visits and fundraising ensure the deafblind children are able to communicate with their families and vice versa. ensure that disability will be included inthe next Millennium Development Goals

3 INSPIRATION “I wish I had known in the beginning that deafblindness didn't mean the end of the world for my child...” Sahila, Alisha's mother “21% of 18 – 34 years old admit that they have actually avoided talking to a disabled person because they weren’t sure how to communicate with them.” (www scope.org.uk 2014)

4 INSIGHT They give up communicating with the deafblind.

5 Being deafblind is not the end of the world. Through the hand communication, they can still pursue and enjoy their own life. Tactile is the universal sense that young health people also have. We need to tell them that they have the ability to help and change the life of the deafblind through their hand. 7 What : Install the interactive digital signage at school bus shelter. When : Before holiday season starts Where : On major university’s campuses Please put your hands here Your hands have the power to change the life of the deafblind. IDEA 1. The target puts their hands on the hand-print on the screen at the bus stop. 2. While they touch the screen, a deafblind kid gradually appear on it with light and sound added. 3. The screen will show the kid getting in the school bus, reflecting he/she now receives education with their help.
