1 Practice: Social Work in Action Established for over 20 years, it is a forum for the publication of research and knowledge from practice. Promotes the international dimension of social work; fosters the exchange of learning, knowledge and values from and for practice. Papers are presented in an accessible format with content that is relevant to practicing social workers whatever their role and task. The editorial board is committed to offering constructive support to people new to writing for publication.

3 Submitted paper are reviewed by 2 assessors, drawn from academic and practice backgrounds, who provide feedback and a recommendation to the editors. Papers are between 3-5,000 words long. Currently 4 issues a year. Time from submission to publication is around 12 months, and will take into account providing a balance of papers in a particular issue.
