As you walk up the path from reception you will see the Lodge, this is one of the buildings you might be staying in.
You might even spot our owl who was carved into the top of an old tree stump.
This is the Farm House, you might be staying here. Your bedroom might even be in the turret!
Here is one of the Lodge bedrooms. Which bed will you choose? And this is one of the Farm bedrooms. Can you see the unusual shaped window?
If you are camping, this is the field and the Base Camp building. And your bedroom will be a teepee!!
Let’s go and take a look at some of the other rooms you might use when you are at Thornbridge...
Stores is where you will collect your waterproof… and wellies for your stay at Thornbridge. If you are pond dipping or doing a minibeast hunt, you will collect your equipment from our ‘Enviro Den’.
When you come to Thornbridge you will be doing lots of activities. The next few slides will tell you about some of them.
First you may have to put a helmet on.
And even a harness

Ashford Black Marble Mine. This is one of the crawls you can do in the mine.
If you are going to the mine you will have to wear a special helmet with a light on.

Weaselling is really good fun.
Our mountain bikes can be used on the Monsal Trail.... Mountain biking
or on site using the ‘trike and bike trail’.....
