Dr. Kaushik Dilip Deb: is a M.Sc., MD(AM) & Ph.D Biotechnology. He pursued his post doctoral training in the areas of stem cells and tissue engineering at universities in the US and Canada. He is an MD in Alternative and Complementary Medicine, from the Indian Institute of Alternative Medicine (IIAM). He completed his executive management education from the Indian Institute of Management –Bangalore (IIM-B). He was awarded the DBT’s overseas associateship in niche areas of biotechnology, and also received the Indian National Academy of Sciences (INSA)- bilateral exchange award with the Czech Science Academy. He has worked as scientist as-well-as at senior management positions in stem cell biotech companies in India. Dr. Deb is carrying out research in the areas of Epigenomics, Nanotechnology, Biomimetic membranes, Directed stem cell trafficking (DCT) technologies and Biomarkers discovery in stem cells. He has published several peer reviewed research papers and book chapters, and is also an active reviewer and editoral board member for 5 international publishing houses. He is a founder member of the Stem Cell Research Forum of India (SCRFI) and the Society for Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine India (STERMI). His edited reference book entitled “Stem Cells; Basic and Applications” by McGraw Hill New Delhi and “Stem cell Technologies” by McGraw Hill, New Jersey, USA; has been widely appreciated.
