What I did What did was a clay guitar. I made the base color black with a skull in the middle and roses on the side.

What Each Symbol Represents I did a skull in the center because a skull represents death and rebirth of a person. The symbol also honors the dead.

The flowers symbolize love and death. That is why they decorate graves and alters with them.

History The holiday Dia de los Muertos. has been around for about 3,000 years. One of the things they do to celebrate is they go to the cemetery listen to music. A band will be there and play the favorite songs of the dead. This takes place on the night of Dia de los Muertos. People will dance and ware masks to celibrate.
