Blog Video ‘MMO addiction’ Storyboard

Setting Public service announcement. The setting will take place in my room. Time: morning to night.

Camera The camera will be located in the corner of my room and on top of my desk. I will be using a tripod. I will be using a fast-forwarding effect to give the impression that time is ‘flying by’.

Time Targeted video length: 1-2 minutes

Music Something with guitar, maybe something from The Pillows

3 items to use IPhone (I don’t have one so I’ll be using an Android) Java Book CIS professor (can be mentioned)

Scene 1 Morning 7am: I get up from bed, I immediately go to my computer. I play online for ‘hours’.

Scene 2 Noon- The camera will be located on top of my desk or supported by a tripod. It will show me playing the game. I will eat something small in place of a proper lunch. (Note that I didn’t eat breakfast)

Scene 3 Afternoon: Still playing, short nap then return to playing. Camera position: corner of room.

Scene 4 Evening: Still playing, eating fast food. Negates sleep.

Scene 5 New morning, sequence repeats.

Scene 6 A calendar is shown of the days flying by. Calendar will have a circled date, ‘Java Project is due!’

Scene 7 Afternoon, still playing. I use the Java book as a mouse pad.

Scene 8 More days fly by on the calendar.

Scene 9 I cram the Java project the day before it’s due. Can’t complete it so I call a friend to send me his project. I turn in his project as mine.

Scene 10 Playing continues

Scene 11 A few days later, the professor catches my plagiarism and gives me an F in the class.
