Mission Statement THE ARMY CADET LEAGUE OF CANADA, A CIVILIAN COMMUNITY-BASED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION, WITH A MANDATE AS THE SUPERVISORY SPONSOR OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN ARMY CADETS, COMMITS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CANADIAN FORCES AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES, TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR ACHIEVING THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE CANADIAN CADET MOVEMENT IN GENERAL, AND THE ARMY CADETS IN PARTICULAR.

encourage Canadian youth between 12–18 to become Army Cadets recruit, screen, train and manage volunteers to work in their communities encourage suitable persons to seek membership in the Cadet Instructor Cadre raise funds to support the Army Cadet Program act as the representative for communities and families with Cadet Corps encourage communities that do not have an Army Cadet Corps to consider forming one advocate for the children who are cadets in the Army Cadet Program promote the Army Cadet Program as the premier youth citizenship and development organizations encourage moral, foundational, and where possible, fiscal support from community members and leaders

4 Strategic Objectives 1.To grow the Army Cadet Movement 2.To attract new Cadet Instructors, Volunteers and League member 3.To increase fund and friend raising activity 4.To represent the interests of all non- military members of the ACM

Objective 1 To Grow Army Cadet Enrollment Encourage Canadian youth between the ages of 12 and 19 to seek membership in The Royal Canadian Army Cadets Encourage communities with a cadet corps to support their cadet corps Encourage communities without a cadet corps to support the formation of an Army cadet Corps

Objective 2 Attract new Cadet Instructors, Volunteers and League Members Support local communities in attracting quality individuals to work with Army Cadets Develop and implement a Volunteer Training model Aggressively increase League Membership across Canada

Objective 3 Actively Raise Funds and Friends Provide practical fundraising tools to all levels of the Army Cadet Movement Share best practices Reward and recognize fund raisers

Objective 4 Represent the interests of all non-military members of the CCM Demonstrate that a nation-wide civilian organization exists to assist cadets and parents of cadets Establish the League as the representative of the Volunteers and League members across Canada Represent the interests of the communities who have Army Cadet Corps Protect the traditions and history of Army Cadets all across Canada including the relationship with affiliated units Be aware of the procedures and processes addressed in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
