BSIFG’s Job-Oriented Training Program in Quantitative Finance The BSIFG's Job-oriented training is designed to give you qualification and the exposure that you need to find a job in financial industry.  Program Features:  BSIFG’s Job-oriented training program focuses on the industry practical working knowledge and skills combining with the fundamental disciplines of mathematics, statistics, economics and finance which provide the analytical tools to solve practical problems.  This job-oriented training program provides not only an ideal foundation for a career, but also much more reality in career opportunities in quantitative finance and risk management.

 Lecturers Features: Reflecting the program's cross-sectorial, cross-cutting knowledge nature, lecturers are from the area of risk management, vetting and validation, front office, treasury and management, finance and economics in banking, financial institutions, and insurance company.  Recruitment Service Features: Students benefit from not only the lectures and project seminars sponsored by the BSIFG Training Group, but also, BSIFG's recruitment can serve those who requested help for more interview opportunities and hence greater chance to get hired.  Enrollment Feature: Our admission standards are competitive, and the workload very demanding. To ensure a higher employment rate, we have limit the enrollments in each training.  Module Overview: Module #1: Get Prepared for Financial Industry Quantitative and Risk Management Job introduction to the financial industry with focus on quantitative areas and risk management from job-oriented perspective covering broad range of professional jobs. Module #2: Equity, FX and Commodity Modeling provides practical introduction in current financial industry practices from products to trading and hedging, from pricing to quantitative methodologies and risk measurements. Module #3: Interest Rate, Fixed Income and Credit Modeling provides practical introduction in Interest Rate products, Fixed Income products and Credit products, ranging from underlying linear products to their derivatives products, with focus on the product structure, and pricing methodologies. Module #4: General and Specific Market Risk Methodologies and Modeling provides practical introduction in market risk measurement methodologies and modeling in General Market Risk and Specific Risk. Module #5: Counter Party Credit Risk and Credit-Valuation-Adjustment (CVA) Modeling provides practical introduction in specialized areas in market risk measurement methodologies and modeling.

 Module Overview: Module #6: Retail Credit Risk and Basel A new module and represents one of the most important areas in financial engineering industry. It is part of Basel II regulatory requirement, measuring the Retail Credit risk in terms of Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD) and Exposure at Default (EAD). Module #7: Wholesale Credit Risk and Basel A new module, and it is part of Basel II regulatory requirement, measuring the Wholesale Credit risk in terms of PD, LGD and EAD. Module #8: Analytics in Corporate Treasure and Balance-Sheet management A new module on Balance-sheet management which has always been a core part of banking industry. Module #9: Capital management A new module based on current regulatory environment and industry challenges. Capital management has been central in current financial industry, and capital measurement plays fundamental role in appropriate and adequate capital management and capital allocation.
