Presentation transcript:

By Erin Smethurst and Lena Cummings

Business Description ► We are a popcorn vendor where you can make your own popcorn and put your own toppings on it. Not only do we have local vendors, but you can also order popcorn online.  Erin is the president of our company, and Lena is the CEO. We share the company equally.

Business Description  We have 12 locations at malls and amusement parks across New Hampshire. The locations are, Story Land, Canobie Lake Park, Water Country, Santa’s Village, Whales Tale Water Park, The Mall of New Hampshire, Pheasant Lane Mall, The Mall in Salem, Tanger Outlets, Merrimack Premium Outlets, Fox Run Mall, and Steeplegate Mall. We have 5 employees at each location, for a total of 60.

Mission Statement  Mr. Popper’s Popcorn is a fun business that lets you express yourself by customizing your own popcorn. We offer delicious toppings that will make your popcorn poppin’.

Profile for Investors  We are looking for $100,000 for a 20% stake in our company.  We plan to use this investment to start expanding our business to become a regional and even national company.  As an investor, you should buy stock in our company because we are a simple, local company with affordable products and the unique concept of customizing your popcorn, which can be purchased online. Popcorn is one of the most popular snacks in America, and we distribute just that.

Production of Product  We receive popcorn kernels monthly from local farmers. Our popcorn is made fresh daily in each store, ready for you to cover with your favorite toppings. Our employees pop the popcorn, and will scoop out whichever kind you would like.  The employees also keep the facilities clean and organized. They also make the customers feel welcome.

Production of Product  We will be in charge of marketing, and the shipping of the kernels to each individual location.  Our company also offers premade popcorn that you can take home to enjoy!  We offer plain popcorn, kettle corn, and buttered popcorn. The toppings we offer are: chocolate, caramel, and a variety of nuts, fruit, and candy.

Reasons to Extend Our Credit  A financial institution should extend our credit because we need more money to be able to expand our company and add more locations across the country. This would give our investors more profit, and therefore we would get more business.

Distribution of Product  The popcorn will be distributed in bags and small bowls in each of our stores.  The reach of our product will be to everyone in New Hampshire.

Marketing Plan – TV and Radio ► We will televise 10 seconds of commercials to local stations. ► We will also have a 30 second ad on the local radio station.

Marketing Plan – Print  We will have small advertisements in the local newspapers and magazines.  We will also distribute business cards and flyers across the state.

Marketing Plan - Online  We will have a Twitter and Instagram page to keep customers updated on the latest news about our company.  We will also have a website that has information on all of our stores.

Connection to the Global Economy  We will ship popcorn internationally but if you order popcorn online it will take over a week to get there.
