Laws and Rules are Important Created and Presented by Ms. Clark’s Class

What Do We Know About Laws? They are things we are not allowed to do. Abby Everyone has to follow them. Phillip They are just like rules. Ross They keep everyone safe. Debra They are made up by grown-ups. Lulu

What are some examples of laws? You may not refuse to hire someone because they are old. Jeff You may not steal someone’s belongings. Chrissy You cannot physically harm someone. Jack

What If? Ms. Clark’s first grade class

What if no one HAD to go to school? Many students would not. They would not graduate. They would not get jobs.

What if there was no law against stealing? People would take what they wanted. Stores would not exist. Money would not be worth anything. By: Ross, Rachel, Chandler
