Saving lives, changing minds.  Purpose: To highlight disaster risk reduction (DRR) activities, support better programme targeting and ultimately promote more strategic investments in DRR.  Number of people supported: million in 97 countries  Total DRR expenditure: CHF 95.3 million  Per-capita expenditure: CHF 4.69  Data collected: 122 National Societies (including 23 PNS) 2011 DRR Mapping

Saving lives, changing minds.  A capacity mapping report is being prepared and will be shared soon.  To strive to get 188 National Societies to capture domestic DRR activities, capacity and spending for the following year.  The results of the DRR mapping support Red Cross Red Crescent positioning, advocacy, communications and resource mobilization.  Our cost-efficiency and effectiveness has improved compared to 2009 and Way Forward
