From the GPS and gyroscope position as well as odometer of the bus the advanced algorithm in the Telargo mobile unit performs dead reckoning and on route matching. On route data is send to the server every 30 seconds. Arrival and departure times form stops, door opening times and route durations are transmitted to the server. Arrivals are calculated for all buses currently on route and for scheduled buses in advance. Smart bus stop Innovative aspect Dedicated short range communication Arrived / departed
