Strategies & actions for macro-regions BSR INTERREG III B Provide basic environmental knowledge on a superior level Distribute environmental knowledge gained through WP4, Barents 2010 Contribute to new mapping where the existing knowledge is lacking Contribute to distribution of new environmental knowledge Maintenance and development of environmental networks between institutions, authorities e.g. built up in Barents 2010 based on RWGE Follow up actions which are prioritized in the WP4 report

Strategies & actions for macro-regions BSR INTERREG III B Participation in other sector programs Advisory service to other sectors Information regarding where environmental expertice can be found Evaluation of other sectors projects and actions to the Barents Regional Committee

Strategies & actions for macro-regions BSR INTERREG III B Local environmental actions RWGE should take initiative to local environmental actions like drinking water projects, LA 21 etc. Local environmental knowledge should be built up Successful actions can spread to new areas when needed
