+ What is E-Waste? E-Waste = Electronic Waste Computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines etc… Only 12.5% of e-waste is currently recycled. Many of them can be reused, refurbished, or recycled

+ World’s E-waste

+ Japanese History of E-Waste Recycling System 1970 began treating the E-waste differently from other materials 2001, the Law for the Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources (LPUR). October, 2003, taxes were imposed on any computer purchased after that date 2009, the Law for the Recycling of Specified Kinds of Home Appliances (LRHA).
