REVIEW! What does it mean to be healthy?  Remember that being healthy is not just eating nutritious food and being physically active.  There are many different aspects of health.  Can you remember the other aspects of health we talked about? What is a lifestyle? Definition: Lifestyle- a way of living that reflects a person's values and attitudes For example: Spiritual lifestyle If an individual enhances their spiritual life on a regular basis. Becoming a teacher What do teachers value?

Healthy Lifestyle  A healthy lifestyle refers to what we do on a daily basis that is good for our health.  As active people there are many things that we can do to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Wearing protective equipment Spending less time playing video games

Your Healthy Lifestyle  What activities or habits do you do that are good for your health?  What activities or habits do you do that are not so good for your health? For example: which habit is bad for our health? I always wash fruit and vegetables before I eat them. Sometimes I forget to wash my hands after using the washroom. I put on sunscreen before going out in the sun.

Conclusion  By developing a healthy lifestyle, we can prevent disease and illness throughout our lives.  Fit for lifestyles will help you discover what healthy lifestyle practices are and how we can use them everyday!
