House - $44 billion for T-HUD House Committee – voted on June 27 CDBG: $1.6 billion (50% cut from FY2013) HOME: $700 million (30% cut from FY2013) Homeless Programs: $2.088 billion (3% increase from FY 2013)
Senate - $55 billion for T-HUD Senate Committee – voted on June 27 CDBG: $3.15 billion (level with FY2013) HOME: $1 billion (5% increase from FY2013) Homeless Programs: $2.26 billion (17% increase from FY2013)

CDBG Reforms – proposed by HUD establish a minimum grant threshold : $348,875 establish a minimum threshold of $500,000 for new or returning entitlement communities in fiscal year 2014 or thereafter. eliminate the “grandfathering” provision
HOME Reforms – proposed by HUD allow recaptured CHDO funds to be reallocated by formula establish a single qualification threshold of $500,000 revise the current "grandfathering" provision facilitate eviction of HOME rental unit tenants who pose an imminent threat.
