Discover London By Fayo Ibidapo 11QGi

The Original Brief −What did the brief detail? −The final image has to promote a local area −It must contain a range of images from different sources −The images must be manipulated/edited −The image must be creative and suitable for A4 printing. Broken down: The final image must promote a local area by using different images that have been edited in a creative manner and is suitable for A4 printing.

Planning −Before starting the final image, it was important that appropriate planning took place. −This made sure that all the details were covered before starting the image. −This would increase the chances of the final image meeting the brief and becoming successful when compared to the success criteria −Part of the planning process included get market research. −This was done by surveying different people and collecting their opinions on each plan, showed in the next screen −Different methods were taken to make sure that the planning done was useful, productive and relevant to the brief. −Plans included a mood board, detailed descriptions of image ideas and existing image annotations

Planning −Here are the methods of planning used: −Mood Board −Detailed Structures −Annotating Existing Images Here is the mood board and detailed structures that I created as part of my planning phase.

Final Graphic Here is my final graphic: This graphic meets the brief as: o It contains different images that have been edited o The size of the image is perfectly A4 o It promotes, not just local areas in London, but activities and tourist attractions o It is creative

Why This Image? I chose to produce this image for many reasons: o It appeals to many audiences such as historians, families and children Therefore more people would buy it o It stands out among other magazine covers due to the deep purple sky and white font o It is a fun, exciting and memorable magazine cover, therefore readers would not forget about it and tell their friends This would increase the magazine’s popularity

Why Should You Choose It? As a business, you’re looking for big ideas that will improve your popularity, even and especially if it includes taking risks. My image is perfect for your corporation because: o It appeals to all types of people This increase the amount of people who would buy the final product o It meets the brief, therefore there is no chance of it being irrelevant o It is memorable No one would forget the image and therefore you company My image fits the success criteria: o It is size A4 o It is of high quality o It appeals to all family members—children and parents/adults o It is realistic to the desired extent, as it is also eyecatching
