Environmental Factors The environment of a school is the setting and location of that school. Example: Country or City? What other environmental factors can you think of? What kind of environments do you like?

Academic Factors The academics of a school are the majors or concentrations and degrees that this school offers. Example: Bachelor’s degree in English What are some majors you are interested in? What classes do you have to take for those majors? How long does it take to earn a degree in those majors?

Social Factors This is also called “student activities.” The social factor includes clubs, sports, and special events for students at this post-secondary school. Example: Soccer team What student activities would you want to be involved in?

Financial Factor The financial factor is how much the school is going to cost. Sometimes, schools give scholarships to students who meet certain requirements. Scholarships are money that students are given for a specific skill, talent, or ability. Scholarships help to pay for school. What is the cost of the schools you researched? What kind of skills or abilities could help you get a scholarship? Did you see any scholarships available at that school?

International Program An international program is the part of the school that helps students who come from other countries. What could a international program help you with? Would you want a school with an international program?
