Directions- Machiavelli’s The Prince was published in 1532 and one of the first works of political philosophy. In it, Machiavelli gives advice to future rulers and argues that immoral means must sometimes be used to gain and keep power. Take the following survey to find out if you could be described as “Machiavellian.” Place the number fitting your opinion on the line next to each question. 1=strongly disagree, 2=disagree, 3=neutral, 4=agree, 5=strongly agree
