-The technology is suitable for the constant production of drinking water of high quality from seawater using solar energy. Due to solar energy, the entire system can be operated in a closed “island mode”. -Benefits of the system: cheap, reliable, low service demand, low costs, production of industrial quantities of clean drinking water, producing sea salt of high quality. -Vacuum-technology for water treatment 3-phase system description - 3-phase hydro globe /vacuum hydro globe, requires internal stiffening/ The operation principle of the coordinated stepwise water treatment equipment based on vacuum pumping: cold seawater is pumped through the filter into the primary container, in which the distillery unit is located. Phase 2 is the container preheated by the sun. Phase 3 is the vacuum-distillation container, which is a continuous high vacuum system. If the salt is required to be sold as well, the residual water with high concentration of sodium is crystallized in the open-air using a condensation tray.

- The system is characterised by energy efficiency, and is operated by a central high- performance vacuum pump, by which the pre-filtered seawater is pumped through the airtight systems of container 1 and 2. The energetics of the system is based on air pressure, solar radiation, and vacuum distillation. This system does not only mechanically filter water, but distillates it, due to which clean distilled water is reconverted into clean drinking water of high quality suitable for human consumption.
