Why I wanted to become a School Counselor… I liked being an English teacher, but I started to see that I was helping students with issues that had nothing to do with English! I recognized that my School Counselor didn’t do enough to help me choose a college! I wanted to advocate for students who thought they wouldn’t be able to attend college (ex. Financial issues; Academic Weaknesses)
What does a School Counselor do?
