Associate professor Marianne Jahre Project leader NETLOG Department of Logistics Research project F Funded by the Norwegian Research Council and the following companies –BAMA, Posten, Unitor, Norsk Hydro, Kitron, Tomra, Tine –i.e. a mix of oil, shipping, food, electronics, and logistics providers F Approximately NOK 12 mill. – 20% from the companies/others, 80% from NFR F Main part goes to funding Ph.D. students

His theme is UTILISATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SUPPLIERS AS LOGISTICS RESOURCES – purchasing and strategy theory; resource based view.  Per Engelseth: works with Bama and use case studies performed within Netlog for writing his thesis on THE PACKAGE AS AN INFORMATION RESOURCE IN LOGISTICS NETWORKS – e.g. "creation and use of product traceability“ – packaging literature and theory on information and logistics flows. F Ingunn Elvekrok: works specificially with Tine and uses a number of the Netlog- cases for her thesis and has also some other more quantitative approaches to her theme which is PARTICIPATION AND INFLUENCE IN BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS – Hirschmann, social justice theory and actor bonds in ARA. F Calle Hatteland: wants to challenge the existing view on KNOWLEDGE INFRASTRUCTURE and will do his own cases on ports for his thesis. F Andreas Brekke: works specifically with Norsk Hydro, maybe also eventually with Tomra – works in his thesis on THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACTOR NETWORKS FOR RECYCLING OF ALUMINIUM.
