Began making lanterns to sell in Gettysburg, PA as tourist souvenirs Eventually Hanover purchased a local foundry and became fully integrated into fixture manufacturing. In 2007 Hanover was purchased by Genlyte 2008 led to the purchase of Genlyte by Philips which brought the Hanover lantern line to the largest lighting manufacturer in the world.

Four distribution options. (Type II, III, IV or V) Multiple color temperatures. (3000K, 4000K or 5700K Drivers set at 530 mA.
