Assemblies We have a few assemblies. During the assemblies the principal says something and students get awarded something. We have at least 1 assemble at the beginning of the school year. Some before breaks and 1 at the end of the year. They usually have some after the games and award the students that participated or did something good.

Christmas Program Christmas Program takes place at the School Gym The Christmas program starts a couple of days before Christmas break The X-mas program is a big thing. Families bring presents and place them around a three During the Program children and the school Staff sing, do plays. Skits, and other things

REC Recreation. A lot of students go to the gym at night and play basketball Kids don’t always play basketball, they can run around and play tag, volley ball, and other games REC starts at 7 for the Head Start -3rd grade 7:45 for 4th- 8th 8:45 for 9th -12th and the rest of the night is for Adults

Spring and Halloween Carnival Spring carnival is really big. People from other villages come to play and watch the games During Spring Carnival there are a lot of Basketball games and the gym is just packed with people Halloween Carnival isn’t as big as the Spring Carnival For the Halloween Carnival we usually have a Haunted House and scare people Halloween Carnival is really fun but not as exciting as the Spring Carnival

Science Fair Most students participate in the Science Fair You can do almost any project as long as you have data to collect A couple days before the Science Fair kids rush to get their projects done The Science Fair takes place in the Gym, the tables are all out and students boards are up and ready to be judged

Battle of the Books Battle of the Books usually starts around the beginning of the school year. In Battle of the Books you have to read most of the books. There are like 7 to 10 different books to read. During the meeting you have to answer questions about the books and say the title and author.

Spelling Bee Almost anyone, except the high school kids can join the spelling bee. We usually have a big meeting in the gym and kids get lined up to spell. The last 3 students that spelt every word right get to travel.
