Workforce Orientation

Welcome to Workforce Solutions  Workforce Solutions is a leading placement agency.  Last year we helped employers fill over 21,000 positions.  We have more than 20 offices and more than 700 dedicated, professional, and friendly staff to help you look for work.

Welcome to Workforce Solutions  We have computers, fax machines, telephones, and internet access to help you conduct your job search.  We also have workshops that are available to you such as résumé writing, interviewing, and many others – see our office calendar for details.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)  By applying for SNAP benefit assistance, you agreed to look for work.  Workforce Solutions will support you in your job search by: referring you to jobs helping you with your resume and interviews offering advice on looking for work

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) If you are single and have no children and have not found a job 4 weeks from today, you must work in a community service job to earn your SNAP benefits. With community service you will also develop or sharpen your job skills and be better prepared for finding a job.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) If you are between 16 and 60 years old, have dependents, you may want to gain work experience by participating in an unpaid community service job. Let us know if you would like to do that.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) In order to continue to receive your SNAP benefits you must: 1. Look for work and keep a paper record of all the activities you participate in. 2. Participate in the activities arranged by Workforce Solutions for ___hours a week and report your participation hours weekly. 3. Accept Workforce Solutions job referrals.

SNAP benefit Employment & Training 4. Accept a reasonable job offer and do your best to keep the job. 5. Keep in touch with us on a regular basis and attend all scheduled appointments. 6. If you do not meet your work requirements and report your participation to Workforce Solutions, you will lose your SNAP benefits.

The Benefits of Working  Working provides your family with higher income.  Working provides you with the skills and qualifications you need to obtain better higher paying jobs.
