(Chronological Format) works best when you want to – emphasize employment history use if your job experience has logically led to this job list in reverse chronological order include relevant full-time & part-time experience concisely detail job responsibilities be selective  only those important jobs that will fit on a 1-page résumé

(Chronological Format) include non-professional work only if helps your case don’t be afraid to leave some information out  save for the Job Interview select a readable format  with appropriate “white space” use Action Verbs employ lists to emphasize what you did/learned  maintain “parallel structure” throughout lists

(Functional Format) works best when you want to – emphasize skills & strengths  this format focuses on skill areas  rather than work experience use if you have gaps in your work history  gaps = obvious in the Chronological Format follow this section with a brief “Employment History”
