General Interview Guidelines Know what you want to find out. Know where to get the information Talk to the experts Find eyewitnesses if appropriate Find background information What information is needed to understand the situation? The Scenario The school year is coming to an end and you are in charge of writing an article that focuses on seniors who are graduating. Your editor needs the completed story and photos in an 8.5” x 11” portrait layout by Wednesday.
