Alaska Facts  Juneau: the capital of Alaska  Mt. McKinley: The highest point in North America  Salmon: Alaska’s main product, they export salmon all over the world.

All About Alaska  Denali National Park receives 400,000 visitors every year. Mt. McKinley, the highest mountain in North America, is in Denali National Park. Denali National Park  Salmon is shipped all over the world from Alaska. It is the main manufacturing industry. Oil is a main product of Alaska. It has made the state so wealthy that the citizens do not have to pay income tax.

More About Alaska  Many Native American groups live in Alaska, such as the Inuits. There are still many tribal traditions and customs that are followed by Alaskans.  Black and brown bears roam freely in the Alaska wilderness. Whales are found off the coast of Alaska at certain times of the year.
