Hey Voyagers, how’s it going? A project checklist
By the end of class today… Your Works Cited page should be complete with two sources cited in MLA style. Your research should be complete. You should have a good start ( words) on your report.
If you use Wikipedia… You’ll need to use a “Citation Machine” to create your citation.
Right Now… Open your Works Cited page.
Here’s something you didn’t know. Works Cited must be listed in alphabetical order by author’s last name or article title, if no author is named. You will likely have to shuffle them around a bit. Be careful not to delete any in the process.
Here’s an example: Smith, Hallett. "Shakespeare, William (1564–1616)." Encyclopedia Americana. Grolier Online, Web. 10 May "Shakespeare, William." Encyclopædia Britannica. Encyclopædia Britannica Online School Edition. Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc., Web. 10 May "Shakespeare, William." World Book Student. World Book, Web. 10 May 2012.
One more thing… Remember, it’s not acceptable to copy directly from text. You must paraphrase…you know, put it into your own words. I’ll be able to tell. Just sayin’.
