Hey Voyagers, how’s it going? A project checklist

By the end of class today…  Your Works Cited page should be complete with two sources cited in MLA style.  Your research should be complete.  You should have a good start ( words) on your report.

If you use Wikipedia…  You’ll need to use a “Citation Machine” to create your citation.

Right Now…  Open your Works Cited page.

Here’s something you didn’t know.  Works Cited must be listed in alphabetical order by author’s last name or article title, if no author is named.  You will likely have to shuffle them around a bit.  Be careful not to delete any in the process.

Here’s an example:  Smith, Hallett. "Shakespeare, William (1564–1616)." Encyclopedia Americana. Grolier Online, Web. 10 May  "Shakespeare, William." Encyclopædia Britannica. Encyclopædia Britannica Online School Edition. Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc., Web. 10 May  "Shakespeare, William." World Book Student. World Book, Web. 10 May 2012.

One more thing…  Remember, it’s not acceptable to copy directly from text.  You must paraphrase…you know, put it into your own words.  I’ll be able to tell. Just sayin’.
