Service Coordination Client Service Referral Process to Available EO Services

In this session we will cover… PCPI - An Overview Service Coordination with Government Services Client Suitability and Eligibility of EO Programs The Referral Process Working together for progress

PCPI Overview PCPI (Progress Career Planning Institute) is a not-for-profit, business focused organization. Its mission is to offer career development services for people to realize their full potential by providing Career Development and HR business solutions, products and services designed to improve performance in a multicultural environment. A Board of Directors governs the organization, while approximately 20 staff members lend their skills to the day-to-day operations (including a team of external consultants dedicated to corporate services assignments).

PCPI Initiatives and Public Services PCPI has taken the lead in coordinating a Service Provider Network with approximately 15 EO Service Providers in Scarborough PCPI Assisted in the creation of the “Terms of Reference”, for the new EO Service Model and the Job Placement Employer ∕ Client Matrix PCPI has facilitated the Annual Internationally Educated Professional (“IEP”)Conference since it’s inception in 2003 to the current year, as a contribution to assisting skilled immigrants in achieving success integrating into the Canadian Labour Market. PCPI has created a unique resource guide called the IEP Directory that is offered to IEPs and employers at each Annual IEP Conference. This directory is designed to connect people to information on professional and settlement services offered in Ontario.

Service Coordination with Government Services

Service Coordination Service Coordination is a measure of how the service provider’s coordination, integration and supported access to and from other services are effectively incorporated into a client\s Employment Service Plan. It is an indicator of the support a service provider provides to help clients access and participate in education, training, and/or other types of community services either while they are engaged in Employment Service or at exit from Employment Service. Service Coordination tracks how well a service provider works within the Employment Ontario network and in the community. Indicators include such things as: Effective referral into the Employment Service from other community organizations and services Registration or confirmed participation in education or training during or after Employment Service Registration or confirmed participation in other community services during or after Employment Service Service Coordination measures the percentage of clients in the assisted Employment Service who experience effective, supported referrals into, during or at exit from Employment Service.
