King Alfonso X (El Sabio) By: Holly Anderson, Cortney Lauren, and Shamada Landers

DATE AND WHERE HE WAS BORN:  Rome  November 23, 1221

 King Alfonso X of Castile was a great loyal king. He was also known as King Alfonso the wise. He had 10 children by different wives. He was a king of great admiration and poise.

 In 1252, King Alfonso X first gained his popularity as King of Castile in Leon  He also was famous for his many poems throughout his lifetime.  He was also well known as King Alfonso the wise for his knowledge and loyalty.

This is what made King Alfonso Famous.  His poems and words of wisdom made him famous.  His many children and wives kept his title up after he passed.  He was known by many as king and those followers lead on to centuries telling his story.

What King Alfonso X is known for.  He was a Holy Roman Emperor.  He was also known well for his poems of his knowledge as well as his songs of heart.  He was known for his many wives and children. Which he had 10 of.

 King Alfonso X died in the bloody battle of in.  His death was a tragedy to everyone in his kingdom.  His bravery was a true statement of his loyalty to his kingdom.

 King Alfonso had 10 children.  It I unknown how many wives he had.  His bravery cost him his life, but he was in gratitude of his kingdom.

 King Alfonso X’s generation started with his first child _______.  His generation kept going from son to son passing the crown down the line.  Alfonso’s generation kept going and might still be.

 Alfonso took pride in building his nation. It took sweat, blood and tears, but was finally molded into his idea of a beautiful kingdom.  Alfonso having 10 children wanted to make sure his generation never ended.  Alfonso wrote poetry, in which he poured his heart into.
