Why I chose these industries? I chose this industry because my cousin seems to live a happy life and is wealthy. I chose him because I wanted to know if he preferred one job over the other.

My Actions I was introduced to the stock market in Intro to finance and I loved how it worked and I wanted to follow it as a career. I have joined a couple of stock games in market watch to gain experience and then adapt what I learn to the real world. I face timed with him.

Question #1 and #2 What do I need to become a stockbroker?  You have to be lucky, confident and most importantly have a descent amount of money to invest. What job do you prefer?  Depends on the day, making money in the stock market makes me happy. But I love working with people.

Question #3 and #4 What are the differences between the stocks here and in Guatemala?  The stock market in Guatemala is very limited and its harder to anticipate if a stock is going to go up or not. In the U.S there are graphs and stuff that give you a good idea. Do you think I could start now?  Yea I think so, You could get a good idea and get experience for when your older.

Question #5 and #6 What made you join the stock market?  My roommate in college was American and told me to invest in the stock market and I did and just never stopped. Do you have any suggestions for me?  Yea you should do well in school and not depend solely on the market because it may not always pay the bills.

What did I learn? I learned that the stock market is a way that I can make money and something I want to do when I am older. But I need to major in something that will get me money in a secure way with no risk. I might want to major as an accountant and invest in my spare time.
