What exactly is a lawyer? Lawyer is a licensed professional person who practices or studies law; and attorney or counselor.

Responsibilities and Duties of a Lawyer Communicate with his/her clients. Maintain confidentiality of the clients and his/her case. Strengthen their clients case. Must keep your personal property separate from his or her own property, and must keep your money in an escrow account. As a public citizen, a lawyer should seek improvement of the law, access to the legal system, the administration of justice and the quality of service rendered by the legal profession

Guaranteed benefits. Salary can range low as $54,310 a year, to as high as $187,200 a year. Depending on which company you work for you’ll be entitled to a retirement plan. Paid Holidays Are Not Required or Any Sick Days. Many employers offer a certain number of paid holidays per year as part of their benefits packages, But vocational time is optional. Certain insurance companies provides Vision and Dental care coverage.

Educational Requirements 7 years of Full-Time studying after high-school. 4 years of a undergraduate study 3 years of Law school A bachelor degree is required for entry into law schools. Becoming a licensed lawyer is called “admitted to the bar” All applicants studying law must passed the Bar Exam

Work Environment Majority of lawyer work in a private or corporate legal offices. Some Lawyers travel to attend meetings with clients at various locations. The majority of lawyers work full time, and many work long hours.
