3. How many students are currently receiving speech services (speech only and speech with other disabilities) in your district? Average 1251

4. How many SLP positions were allocated for your district in the school year? Average 30

5. How many SLP positions were filled in the school year by district-hired employees? Average 20 (approximately 66%)

6. How many SLPs were hired in the school year as contract employees? Average 9

7. How many SLP Assistant positions were allocated for your district in the school year? *Enter “0” if your district does not employ SLP Assistants. Some allocate for SLPs and then fill vacancies with SLP Assistants Average 7 (not counting districts that don’t use Assistants)
