To count as “dressed” students must: First, students check in the following items w/ their teacher: – Dressed in your Active Wear – Gym shoes/tennis shoes – Bring your active wear and tennis shoes to put in your locker on Wednesday. CHAMPs - PE

PE MAKE-UPS Mon-Friday 7:30am – 8:04am – Must be dressed in PE Active Wear and meet in the gym at 7:30. Wednesdays 3:30pm – 4:04pm – Must be dressed in PE Active Wear and meet in the gym at 3:30. YOU must make arrangements with your teacher if you cannot make any of these designated times for make-ups to receive your credit. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE END OF THE GRADING PERIOD TO COMPLETE MAKE-UPS, YOU WILL RUN OUT OF TIME!!! CHAMPs - PE To make up missed class and absences

MEDICAL ISSUES Students with a medical excuse will be given an alternate assignment in order to earn their 10 daily participation points. When possible the student may modify their activity based on their medical issue. For example; if you have an injured hand - doctors note could state: student can participate in modified activity – like walking the track. If a student has an injury and is unable to participate in physical activity, they are required to make up missed time when they are able to participate. CHAMPs - PE

WEATHER AND INJURY Weather – Classes go outside until temperature is below 32˚ – Can wear sweatshirt/pants over active wear. Injuries – Report them to your PE teacher immediately CHAMPs - PE

POLICIES & PROCEDURES Jewelry or Electronics – NO jewelry or use of electronics during PE class to avoid injury or breaking it. Valuables – Do not bring valuables into locker room. – PE Dept. and ACMS are not responsible for lost/stolen items. CHAMPs - PE

POLICIES & PROCEDURES Locks – Lock & Locker will be assigned by your teacher. – Students are not to change their locker or lock. Lockers – Do NOT share your locker. – Make sure you check that your lock is properly shut before leaving the locker room (spin lock/ pull lock). – Clean out by designated time at end of each semester. Food/Drink – Keep out of locker room and gym facilities. CHAMPs - PE
