How to Get My Attention in Class  Raise your hand!  I love to answer questions – please don’t hesitate to ask a question.  I will happily answer questions from students who are patiently waiting with their hand raised.  Good Example / Bad Example

Bathroom Procedure  We are all humans  Use your passing period wisely!  Plan ahead  If an emergency happens – let me know and I will excuse you from class.  Fill-out agenda (teacher signature required)  Bathroom sign-out sheet

Bathroom Procedure  Let’s take care of our bathrooms!  Make it your goal to leave the restroom in better condition when you leaven than it was when you entered.

Chair Procedure  Whenever leaving the room all chairs must be pushed in before anyone in the class can leave  Makes the room easier to get around  Very easy to do when we’re in the habit

Locker Procedure  Please be responsible!  We will not leave during class for items left in lockers – please think ahead!  In the morning before entering the room please get supplies for the day

Locker Practice  Let’s go practice working on our lockers!  Fastest opener wins a Jolly Rancher!

Water Bottles  Water bottles?  Sure, bring them.  Clear liquids only please.

Classroom Library  Use it!  Don’t forget to use the checkout sheet when borrowing books.  These books should stay at school unless there is special permission given.

End of the Day Procedure  Cleaning BLITZ!  Everybody helps!  Practice!
