History Day Project This project is something that the whole 8th grade participates in. This years theme is The Innovations in American History: Impact and Change. There will be a packet of info and calendar of due dates to come

Field trip Starting in February we will be taking trips to the Alameda County Courthouse on Stoneridge Dr. Here we will see peoples Constitutional rights in action Parental chaperones are welcome you just need to be cleared through the school Please see table for the forms They take 4-6 weeks to process

Washington D.C. trip over Memorial Day weekend 5 Days Parent info night Wednesday Sept. 15 in the library at 7 PM

About me I was born and raised in Pleasanton and attended Pleasanton Schools from Kindergarten through High School. After graduating from Amador Valley I went to Ohlone Junior College and then transferred and graduated from Cal State Hayward From 1998 to 2000 I was living and working on my Teaching Credential in Chico CA. In 2000 I received my Credential from Chico State and returned home to Pleasanton. In October of 2000 I was hired at Thomas Hart Middle school to teach seventh and eighth grade social studies.
