The student will learn about the career field by conducting at least three interviews. This project should lead the student toward a greater understanding of the responsibilities and qualifications of a potential career.

Shadowing a Nurse or Doctor for three days a week, 5 hours a day for 2 weeks as he/she makes his rounds. Shadowing a Conservation Officer for 8 hours a day on a Saturday three different days and attending a 1 hour meeting with him/her during a weekday. Working with a Network Systems Administrator for 2 hours a day after school for 13 business days as they do their job.

The student must conduct at least three personal interviews of at least 10 questions each. This project requires the student to make a professional contact and conduct themselves appropriately in a workplace environment. Student may be required to dress and behave in a specified manner.

The Career Internship Project allows the student to explore a career of interest to them. The student will be required to immerse themselves in a specific job for a minimum of 25 hours.
